"THE LAST MERMAIDS" wins BEST DOCUMENTARY at Student Academy Awards and SPECIAL JURY MENTION at TRIBECA
Filmmaker Liz Chae's unique short documentary "The Last Mermaids", which explores the last generation of Haenyos (women sea divers) of Jeju Island, South Korea, recently won the Gold Medal for Best Documentary at the 36th Student Academy Awards in Hollywood. The film was also won Runner Up and Special Jury Mention at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Yay! |
